Through his binoculars, he saw Adil walk toward the village entrance, followed by dozens of fully armed soldiers.

She waved to the soldiers, and more than a dozen soldiers rushed into the courtyard where Alz was. Before long, the soldiers dragged Alz out and threw her on the ground. Lu Chen was surprised to see this. Weren't they siblings?

As Mike observed, he said, "She killed her half-brother, Alz's younger brother."

"Are you complimenting me?" Mike asked with a smile.

"I suppose so," Lu Chen said. After he finished speaking, he turned his head and couldn't help but laugh.

At that moment, after hearing the soldier's words, Adil waved behind him and shouted in the local language, "Find the thing for me!"

The soldiers shouted their agreement and rushed into the village.

Adile turned to look at the place where Lu Chen and the others were hiding. She waved her hand, a slight smile on her face, then kicked Alz a few times before walking into the village.

Lu Chen and Mike were watching him through binoculars. When they saw Adile's actions, they both put down their binoculars, looking surprised.

The two said almost simultaneously, "She's spotted us."

Lu Chen's mind raced. From the drone just now to Adile's greeting from afar, it all seemed amiss. Could there be a traitor?

Thinking about all this, he looked at Mike deeply, but he didn't say what he was thinking. He suddenly realized that survival on the battlefield was not easy, and it was easy to be outmaneuvered, so he had to keep a backup plan.

Mike was startled and looked over. Sure enough, Adile had brought his men. He quickly spoke into the walkie-talkie, "Everyone prepare for battle. Anthony, warn her."

Lu Chen glanced at Mike, who seemed terrified of Adile. Why be so afraid of a woman? Judging from Adile's demeanor, she didn't seem interested in fighting. Was she just there for a chat?

With that in mind, he nodded to Mike in agreement.

Mike gestured thank you to Lu Chen, then spoke into the satellite phone, "He agreed, but on one condition: you have to come into the jungle alone."
