After Su Haoyu finished instructing everyone, he chuckled and said, "You’re still in the early stages of pregnancy, we don’t know how many babies you’re carrying yet. But in another month, you’ll probably know. I hope there are as many as possible, since you said you’d only have one child."

An Jing simply laughed. It’s not like she can control how many babies she’s having. She didn’t mind; she just hoped the baby would be healthy.

An Jing smiled and said, "What did you buy so much of?"

"Clothes for the baby in your belly; I don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, so I bought them all."

An Jing laughed, "You really did buy them a bit early; I’m not even a month pregnant yet."

"No problem leaving them here; I liked these clothes now, and if I see other nice things later, I’ll buy them too."

An Jing felt both amused and blessed, "Luckily, the house is large, otherwise you’d have no place to put all this stuff."

Su Changyi said, "There are plenty of empty rooms on the third floor; you can store them there."

An Jing found it even more amusing.

Su Chengyu then instructed the housekeeper to help move the stuff to the third floor.

The Su Family’s home was akin to a castle, with several annexed buildings apart from the main house they lived in. Some housed the servants, while others were vacant. If there wasn’t enough space on the third floor, they could still use the annexes.

Sitting on the sofa, Su Chengyu grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl and started munching, saying unclearly while chewing, "I just called Baobei, and it seems like she’s also out buying things for the baby. No idea what she bought."

"You all..." An Jing didn’t know how to respond. The quantity of things bought was overwhelming.

Su Chengyu grinned again, "Sister-in-law, you must listen to your brother; don’t do anything, just focus on taking care of yourself. You’re the boss now in this family, even though my brother was the nominal boss, he listens to you, which makes you the boss."

An Jing just felt amused.

Seeing An Baobei return, also followed by a group of people carrying more packages, An Jing asked what they were and learned that An Baobei had bought toys for the children.

Only after An Baobei arranged the toys did she join An Jing and the others in the living room.

"Mom, Dad, do you prefer a boy or a girl?" An Baobei asked while munching on sugar cane.

Asked again, An Jing didn’t answer, just gave Su Changyi a smiling look.
