Even though he’d just been fooling around with Yang Xiaocui, Yang Daniu didn’t have a shred of pity for her right now. He was even rougher than Yang Dong; he shoved Yang Xiaocui hard to the ground and said in disgust, "Get out of the way."

He wasn’t stupid. Now that they’d been caught, of course he had to spill everything to protect himself.

His temper flared up too, and he stopped talking about Yang Xiaocui. First he’d swing back, the rest could wait.

The two of them just started grappling and tussling like that.

Hiding in the dark, Li Chuntao saw Yang Dong and Yang Daniu start fighting and grew horribly anxious. She wanted to rush out and help, but she knew she’d be no help at all, she’d only make things worse. And if she went out now, Yang Xiaocui and Yang Daniu would just turn around and bite back at her.

She had no way to explain why she was here either.

So she could only stay there, heart pounding uneasily, hiding and silently praying over and over that Yang Dong would manage to knock Yang Daniu down.

After walking a few steps, Yang Dong stopped, turned around, and was just about to tell them to leave when he saw Yang Daniu staggering to his feet, laughing crazily. That laughter was almost deranged, especially jarring on this silent mountain.

Seeing Yang Daniu coming over, Yang Dong immediately tensed up too.
